Individual, family and couple therapy is offered. Psychiatric support for medication management and psychiatric assessment. Neuropsychological evaluations offered to rule out Attentional Disorders, post head injury assessment among many other areas. We also offer telehealth support to provide further access to treatment.
We are located in North Kingstown and serve clients across Rhode Island, including East Greenwich, South Kingstown, Narragansett, Warwick, Exeter, and surrounding communities.
You can call the office at 401-294-6900 to schedule your free consultation appointment or if you prefer, fill out the new patient intake form here. A staff member will call you back within 24 hours to match you with a provider.
Your first appointment is focused on understanding your needs, history, and goals for care.
For psychotherapy, this is typically a 60–90 minute session where your clinician gathers background information and begins to understand your concerns.
For psychiatric services, you’ll complete more detailed forms ahead of time, including medical history, and the initial visit will focus on evaluating symptoms and discussing medication options if appropriate.
For children, the process may involve meeting with parents or caregivers to gather background information, with appointments tailored to the child’s specific needs — such as therapy or cognitive and educational testing.
If you are having an emergency or you feel your life is in danger, call 911 immediately. Emergency psychiatric services are offered by all hospital emergencies rooms and do not require an appointment. If are a current client and have an issue that requires urgent but not emergent attention you can call our answering service at 401-384-6339. Your provider will return your call within 24 hours.
In order to get a prescription refill you must provide your name, date of birth, name of medication, dosage, a call back number and the phone number and location of your preferred pharmacy. We will do our best to provide your refill as soon as possible, but expect a delay of 2 business days for refills. We are unable to refill stimulants for 3 months without a follow up appointment due to legal constraints.
Cancellation and missed appointment policies vary by provider.
We ask that you contact our office as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Our administrative team is available Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, at 401-294-6900 and will notify your provider.
If calling outside of those hours, you may leave a message and it will be reviewed as soon as possible. Please be sure to check directly with your provider regarding their specific cancellation and missed session policy.
Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, selected credit cards, and participating insurances. Payments are due at the time of your appointment.
We accept a variety of insurance plans; however, coverage may vary by provider.
