Margaret Andruchow is a board-certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist who brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and holistic approach to her work. She integrates psychotherapy and psychopharmacology to support individuals in achieving stability, insight, and improved quality of life.

Areas of Expertise
Margaret has extensive experience working with anxiety and depressive disorders, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as attentional disorders such as ADHD across developmental stages. She works closely with clients to better understand their experiences and develop effective strategies for managing symptoms and improving daily functioning.
She is also certified in Death and Dying and has significant experience supporting individuals and families navigating illness, loss, and bereavement. This work has deeply informed her perspective and reinforces her respect for the resilience and strength of those she serves.
Background & Experience
Margaret completed her undergraduate degree at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and earned her graduate nursing degree from the University of Rhode Island. She also holds a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Salve Regina University.
She has maintained a private practice for over 18 years, providing psychotherapy and medication management to adult populations.
Teaching & Professional Contributions
Margaret has held various teaching roles throughout her career, including serving as a clinical instructor at Rhode Island College, where she shared her expertise in trauma, including domestic violence. She has also been a guest speaker at Roger Williams University School of Law.
Her experience in teaching and training has provided valuable perspective that continues to inform and enrich her clinical work.
