Approach to Therapy
Dr. Eguia-Brusco works primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults, using evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s developmental needs. She specializes in treating a range of anxiety disorders, including separation anxiety, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, specific phobias, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
She has particular expertise in working with children with selective mutism and collaborates closely with families and schools to support meaningful progress across settings.

Evaluations & Consultation
Dr. Eguia-Brusco provides psychological evaluations and consultation services. Referral questions may include diagnostic clarification; assessment of cognitive performance, academic skills, and social-emotional functioning; as well as concerns related to ADHD and other mental health conditions.
Background & Experience
Dr. Eguia-Brusco completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and earned her Doctorate in Child Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Bradley Hospital’s Early Childhood Clinical Research Center, affiliated with Brown Medical School.
She has worked across a variety of settings, including outpatient and inpatient programs, daycare settings, and public and charter schools.
