Dr. Duarte earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. She completed advanced fellowship training through Brown University’s Medical School Consortium.
With over 25 years of experience, she has worked across school-based, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Dr. Eguia-Brusco provides psychological evaluations and consultation services. Referral questions may include diagnostic clarification; assessment of cognitive performance, academic skills, and social-emotional functioning; as well as concerns related to ADHD and other mental health conditions.
Background & Experience
Dr. Eguia-Brusco completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and earned her Doctorate in Child Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Bradley Hospital’s Early Childhood Clinical Research Center, affiliated with Brown Medical School.
She has worked across a variety of settings, including outpatient and inpatient programs, daycare settings, and public and charter schools.

Dr. Trask completed her undergraduate degree at Bates College and earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from St. Louis University. She completed her internship in child clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
She helped re-establish pediatric neuropsychology services within Rhode Island/Hasbro Children’s Hospital and has been board-certified in clinical neuropsychology since 2008. She is also a member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
Teaching & Mentorship
Dr. Trask is committed to the training and development of future professionals in neuropsychology. She has served in a variety of teaching and supervisory roles at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and the University of Rhode Island, mentoring doctoral students, postdoctoral psychologists, and early-career clinicians.

Teaching, Research & Community Work
Barbara has taught in undergraduate nursing programs and continues to serve as adjunct faculty at the University of Rhode Island. She has been invited to lecture in graduate programs at Rhode Island College and URI on topics such as comprehensive geriatric assessment, geriatric psychopharmacology, and identifying psychiatric conditions in primary care.
She has also participated in research related to mobility in older adults and delirium, and is passionate about community education, offering lectures on stress reduction, self-care, and advocacy.

Dr. Nicogossian earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Early Education and her Master’s degree in Counseling from Marymount University. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.
She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at RICBT in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, community mental health, forensic, and university counseling centers.
